2. As discussed briefly on Sunday...a special dinner could be...
"The Fire House Buffet", see menu on the web site. There is a "carver", carving roast beef that comes with this meal.
And, Paul has raised his prices about $1.00 per meal. So, the Fire House Buffet is now $17.99. With tax and tip
it comes to $23.00. As discussed, we (the treasury) would support the extra $3.00 per member.
What
about champagne, wine or beer that we (the board, the treasury) supplies...sound good?, or, too much?

Anyone interested in a new show biz
book?
Doris Day, The Untold Story Of The
Girl Next Door, by David Kavufman is due in June. My dance with Doris in 1993 may be mentioned along with many Hollywood
tid bits. Day is an icon, and also very much a gay Icon. Remember Secret Love, the song from Calamity Jane? She
has had a fabulous career as, band singer, radio, recording, movie and television superstar as well as a hard working
animal activist. In 2004 she received the Medal of Freedom Award.
David Kaufman also
wrote an award winning book about theatre great Charles Ludlam, called Ridiculous. Excerpts from the Day book will appear
in the May issue Of Vanity Fair.
